October Sky Project Project Overview In this project, we started learning about rockets by building simple paper rockets that we were going to launch with just straws and blowing into the straw. For that rocket, our goal was to get our rocket the farthest. We figured what worked with different peoples rockets and what didn't work. Then we created bigger paper rockets that launched we launched with air and pressurized air Jocelyn made. Our goal for that was to carry an egg into the rocket and for it to go the highest. It didn't matter if the egg broke or not for that launch. Next we did another rocket but this time it was a bottle rocket. It was going to be launched with water and pressurized air. This launch was to try to launch a stable bottle rocket that could launch at least 50 ft into the air. It also did not matter if the egg broke in this launch. And in our last rocket we got to choose what rocket we wanted to build, either a paper rocket or a bottle rocket. Our goal in this launch was to get it the highest and to try to have the egg survive. Building our last rocket was different because
